Did you get a chance to watch the Super Bowl yesterday? Aside from the significance of the game itself (plus the first 100 yard touchdown in Super Bowl history, DID YOU SEE THAT??), many people still tune in the the Super Bowl each year because of the amazing adds that are aired during the game. Despite the recession and a struggling economy, NBC still managed to post a new record for ad revenue during the annual game. The total revenue for Super Bowl Sunday was a whopping $261 million, with ad sales during the event itself making up $206 million of that figure. Individual ads themselves ranged in price from $2.4 million to $3 million per 30 second spot. Wow.
